Adorable Little Crochet Owl!

Inspired by the exquisite crochet (and photography) on Dada’s Place, I had to make a little crochet owl. Bunny Mummy provides an excellent tutorial for these adorable little owls.

Mine came out less than exquisite, but not bad for a first attempt, and trying out a new Susan Susan Bates crochet hook. I didn’t get the eyes on in the right place, and I struggled to hide my knots with the Lion Brand Bonbons cotton yarn I used. I trimmed his tufts a bit longer to give him a bit of an Einstein look.
