As I mentioned in a previous post, I purchased the Bramble Berry lace weight yarn to test out before deciding to buy any more colors. While waiting for other the colors to arrive, I started working on single color, lacy squares. These squares were blocked, but many of the squares tend to curl a bit, either because of the fine yarn or because I need to work on my technique.
This first “Square Lace Motif” pattern is from a Russian site. However, the photos and chart are so well done, I had no problem following the pattern.
The next three are from 200 Crochet Blocks for Blankets, Throws, and Afghans: Crochet Squares to Mix and Match (I’m using the 2005 edition with the red color scheme on the color).
